Story of Karla de Oliveira | IT Account Executive, Zumba teacher & Mum

This one is about Karla de Oliveira aka K-Lo aka Karla The Explorer. She is an ambitious Brazilian girl who moved to Australia many years ago. Karla works for a well-known multinational company as an IT Sales Director / Account Executive.

She also used to be a Zumba dance teacher. She is highly motivated and full of energy. Over the years I have seen Karla grow from strength to strength and constantly outperform expectations.

She is truly unstoppable, and she has always maintained a very friendly and warm aura around her. She is one of the most softly spoken and yet strong woman that one might come across. These days she is also a lovely mom of a young girl.

In speaking to Karla, I asked her where her constant drive and motivation to take on more and more challenges come from, and she said that she simply sees them as an opportunity to learn! she shared with me one of her earliest inspirations which was her great grandmother back in Brazil. Her great grandmother was a revolutionary lady of her time! she travelled from Portugal to Brazil with her three small kids on a boat with nothing in her hands other than a dream of a better life for herself and her family and left everything behind. She later became a very successful businesswoman in Brazil. I see the same guts and fire wire within Karla behind her soft but strong voice. I absolutely adore this genuine go girl!
