Story of Jen Dalton | Dance Studio Founder & Owner | Author & Coach

Today I am sharing the story of Miss Jen Dalton who is the Founder and Director of Jigsaw Dance and Dance Studio Empire located in Sydney, Australia.

Jen is a creative, a business woman, a coach, an author and a podcast host! a truly inspiring person. Jen has always had the love for Dance since a very young age.. and she turned her love and passion into a business over the years. Her story of growth is amazing. Now 30 years down the track since starting Jigsaw Dance studio she is still evolving every day, sharing with others and looking to new horizons. Jen is the author of "Teaching Dance Beyond The Steps", hosts a podcast called "Dance Studio Empire" and has a coaching business for other budding dance studio owners and entrepreneurs called "Dance Teacher Central".

What attracted me most towards Miss Jen was the humility and attention that she gives to her clients in a fast-paced busy environment!! Quite often success makes people complacent and ignorant. Unfortunately, people start businesses to serve but forget to honor their customers and treat them with respect.. Miss Jen is the complete opposite of this.

Jen has been involved in dance since childhood, and she started teaching dance in her early twenties. In 2003, she founded Jigsaw Dance Studio with the goal of providing high-quality dance education in a supportive and inclusive environment. Since its founding, Jigsaw Dance has grown to become one of the largest dance schools in Sydney, with hundreds of students of all ages and skill levels. The school offers a wide range of dance styles, including ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap, contemporary, and acrobatics.

Miss Jen and her team of instructors are dedicated to helping students develop their skills, build confidence, and pursue their passion for dance. In addition to her work at Jigsaw Dance, Miss Jen is also a strong advocate for dance education and the arts. She has been involved in numerous community events and initiatives aimed at promoting the value of dance and the arts in society.
